American Guard Services is looking for a talented individual to join its Human Resources Department: Position Description: The Human Resources Clerk assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR Clerk carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organization development, executive administration, and employment. The HR Clerk has partial responsibility for these areas: recruiting and staffing logistics performance management and improvement tracking systems employee orientation, development, and training logistics and recordkeeping assisting with employee relations company-wide committee facilitation and participation company employee communication compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping employee services maintaining employee files and the HR filing system All candidates must be orderly, adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well on their own or as a member of a team. They also should possess strong typing skills, and be well-versed in other areas of office work, as you will enter data and keep employee records via computers. On top of those things, the HR Clerk needs to be a strong communicator, able to convey important info to co-workers, superiors and job candidates. All candidates must have a high school diploma.
