American Trading International, Inc. (ATI) is a 30+ employee / $40+ million operation exporting USA food and beverages to over 80 markets worldwide. Beautiful Westside office with state-of-the-art facilities and resources, friendly atmosphere, with multi-cultural / multi-lingual staff, we are currently looking for long-term growth/career minded individuals. We are hiring for an International Trade Assistant/Specialist who will be responsible to cover multiple areas in the company including manufacturers, customers, leads, and potentially, trade shows. Responsibilities: - Grow and manage own sales portfolio which includes several International Leads and International Customers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: international pricing, marketing and presentation of new products, follow up and following through on commitments. - Manage manufacturer information ensuring accounts are up to date including creating/updating price lists, managing sell sheets, and updating manufacturer sales and logistics information. - Oversee transaction and sales export documentation for orders - Potentially attend Trade Shows/Missions to source new business and support existing business Desired Skills and Experience Minimum Requirements - Bachelors Degree - 3 years of sales, analytical, or management experience - Passion for International Trade and Global Affairs - Bi-Lingual - Fluent in English both verbal and written - Permanent Resident, U.S. Citizen, or already on a Work Visa Preferred Requirements - 5+ years of working experience - Sales experience in the food and beverage industry and/or International Sales - Tri-Lingual Candidate must: - Be a mature individual with Confidence and Focus - Dependable, Accountable, and Responsible - Be able to take, as well as give, direction to best manage projects and others and identify when to step in during critical moments - Be Forward Thinking and able to issue spot the needs of the overall sales department and senior management. -- "Gets the Big Picture" - Be able to Self-Motivate, be Highly Organized, and an effective communicator - Have a positive and personable demeanor while multi-tasking and working with time sensitive processes - Have excellent organization and verbal communication skills - Able to Follow-Up / Follow Through without having to be reminded - Have working knowledge in MS Office, Windows, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Photoshop An advantage will be given to candidates who: - Possess high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Speak multiple foreign languages WAGE / SALARY: $40K and up Depending On Experience DAY/HOURS: 40 Hours/Per Week COMPANY BENEFITS: ***Health Insurance ***Dental Insurance ***Vision Insurance ***Travel Insurance ***Life Insurance Please feel free to visit our web site at: www.american-trading.com learn more about us.
